DLF already launched the this project at base rate of Rs. 13500/- psyd. There is google group named "DLF Garden City, Lucknow" for all the people who booked in this project. Pls joins that group so we can share more information.

I am seeing ppl suggesting 6-7 K per sq yd in ansal and DLF's 13.5 per sq yd. being too pricey. I am not sure if these commentors have ventured too far away from there computers to find out the real situation

Here is what I found
1. Ansal golf city has new phase priced at around 12K per sq yd , which is nowhere close to shaheed path, it 's about 7-8 Km into the original golf city phase 1. with no access to the actual site so far , you get to see your plot on a map.

2 . LDA plots close to Kanpur road, amausi airport selling for 18K per sq. yd

3. Omaxe city which is next door to #2 above is 15300 sq yd but thats only the price that agents tell you, there were no sellers forthcoming. I am not sure about the reason but I guess given the rates have shot up so much in last one year that they are willing to play the waiting game.

4. DLF garden city is kind of far away from ..everywhere else pretty much but plots are nicely spaced (ansals/omaxe lots piled up one each other) , close to the main highway(ansals 7-8Km through the existing community), close to excellent medical facilities and you dont have airplane noise every morning and evening(omaxe, and i can only imagine as the CC airport gets busier)

It will take around 7-8 years for area around DLF to develop but I guess it would be worth it if you have that much time. If you are comparing only sq yd for sq yd. then it may come across as a bit on higher side.

Starting 15th Feb, DLF has revised the rates to Rs 14,000/- per sqyd. So some good news for the buyers.

Good news will be only if any resale happens at those rates... else its all about making castles in the air

DLF has revised the rates to Rs 14,500/- So it's Rs 1000/- up from the launch offer.
