Today for the first time I came across this thread and was amused to find that all have anxious questions without any answer. So I thought of providing one. I reside in Lucknow Gomtinagar area. My neighbour has booked a plot in Omaxe city during prelaunch. He has invested Rs. 6 lacs/- in partnership with some others through a broker. He has just enquired and told me that the scheme will be launched in April 2012. The rates will be just double. Only a few days back DLF launched plot scheme for Rs. 13500/- per sqyd. and scheme is still open for public. Hope Omaxe launch will also be on same price as both are on Raebareilly road. Omaxe is nearer to Lucknow than DLF.

please confirm the location of DLF plot scheme.
I have booked a plot of 375 Sq yard in mid 2010 in Acer scheme what is the procedure to sell/ transfer after completion of two years which is going to over in june 2012

It is located on Lucknow- Raibarrielly Highway at 20 kms. from heart of Lucknow and 60 kms. from Raibarrielly on the right side while moving from Lko to Rably.
The highway is 2 lane, 4 lane work on. It is 3 kms. from SGPGI and 8 kms. from Shaheed Expressway passing throgh Brindavan area. Even Brindavan area will take years to get fully occupied. DLF is not a good option. The dist. is too much.
Omaxe is better. Ansal is OK as area occupied is huge 6000 acre and would take time. 10 years have passed since launch , still not well constructed, not to speak of occupation. Omaxe plots will command good rates. Wait till then, You can sell to Omaxe or to outsiders which will be more profitable.

Could you please confirm the status of Omaxe Hi-tech township? Is it officially launched or not yet?. On Omaxe web site Nothing is mentioned about this project.

Original booking or through acre scheme? What I heard it was through acre scheme. Do you have any experience with Omaxe in acre scheme? Do they honor what they promised?

As on todays to me it looks risky. Better to wait for an official launch.

DLF Plots : Let me correct my-self. It is 4 kms. from SGPGI and not 3kms. No dev. there. You made a bad investment at 13500/sqyd. Emmar MGF even at 1500/- is far superior choice. And Sushant Golf City with 18000/sqyd. current open rate is far - far superior choice. Your money is blocked for atleast 10 years in DLF. It will see hardly any dev. till then as lot of vacant area to be developed in Awas Vikas Brindavan yojna. Here land is available from 600 to 1500/sqft (13500/sqyd.) DLF is fooling outsiders.
Omaxe Plots : My negibhour who is deeply in this investment business informed me that his 2 year period will be over in Nov. 2012 as he bought in Nov. 2010.
He can sell only to Omaxe at 5500/ sqyd. ( Buying price was 3472/sqyd.) Otherwise he has to get it registered in his name. He plans to register as he hopes the rates to be 3 times higher with a logic that if DLF is charging so much in a barren area, then Omaxe well within city area has to be higher than that.
