I booked in Bhandup at HDIL Dreams towards the end of 2007 and found it to be the most reasonably priced area on LBS marg. There are quite a few projects coming up here which are cheaper than Mulund and nearby areas.
Powai is way too expensive now.
Thane is good and Airoli is fairly cheap.
Andheri (E) is pretty good for investment though is quite expenisve now. Goregaon is mostly residential and rentals will be cheaper than Andheri E.
