They should be asking the first installment in this month. Banks do not disburse the installment without Architect's Certificate. So, DB will have to attach Architect's Certificate saying first slab is complete with the letter of demand.

Keep posting if you get any information....... Have you visited the site recently ?

have u checked about the final possesion. have the builder commit any particular date in the letter or any where please check. i have also booked but the project is delayed. they have been commiting verbally. appriciation is ok but most of us need possesion other wise we will be without oxygen

Good to see that we are (flat buyers in this project) exchanging thoughts about the project. Has anybody visited the project recently ? I haven't for a couple of months... but I think the progress is good. But again, Kishore Kumar has a point - no date has been mentioned by the builder.

I had just called the people in DB. They are saying the work is in full swing and will be demanding first installment in 15 - 20 days / next month. I think the delay is justified given the size of the project........

I too had enquired about the first installment. I have been told that it is due by May last week. Also the sample flat will be ready by then. Currently the booking rate is 4752/sq ft + 18 Rs floor rise. Looking at it, I feel I have done a good investment

Dear All,

My intention is not to dishearten any body but to update you of the status as the progress has been frustrating. I have booked way back in june / july at a rate of 3348 and the foundation was said to be complete. it was also conveyed that be ready with another 10 % by October,09 as the 1st floor will be over by then. I am stilling awaiting for the demand note.

Please donot mistake me , this is not to depress anybody. I understand that DB is a reknowned builder and things may come up but the stake holders has to ask them to fullfil the comitmment which they have made verbally. Appriciation is ok but that happened in all the areas not only DB.

Agreed, the project is delayed. In Mumbai, there are hardly any developers who keep the deadlines. Here in DB's case, they have cancelled five buildings which were to fall in Mumbai district (the rest of the project falls in Thane district).

Earlier, their plan was to construct only 17 floors but now I hear that they have received permission for 20 floors. Imagine the shifting of flat buyers in those 5 buildings (without charing floor rise costs). The numbers of flats they are construcing is around 3500 flats with car parking, garden, swimming pool, etc. I am not justifying their delay. However, we need to consider that they have altered their plan of constructing India's biggest mall (good decision

) in residential complex.......lets wait and watch.......

hi i have booked in june 2009 at 3492 .that time they promised that construction for 1st slab to commence in 2 months.i am now following up every month they say next month surely 1st slab will be done . i dont know why its taking so long
