If business is buzzing, can office rentals in India be far behind? Mumbai’s Central Worli district has been ranked as the fifth most expensive office location in the world in this year’s edition of Office Space Across the World, a global report on occupancy costs released by Cushman & Wakefield on Wednesday.

The report shows Worli — which saw rentals going up a whopping 107 percent in 2006 — rising six places to grab a place in the top 10, ahead of even midtown New York which has been pushed to the ninth position. London’s West End retains its title as number one.
