Default Drinking Water - Quality - Noida vs GN

Hi All,

Heard from several ppl that water quality in GN is better than Noida; Wanted to check what the People on forum feels about the following -

1) Is drinking water quality better in GN compared to Noida?
2) What water filtration system (RO vs UV) to opt for in GN and Noida?

Thanks in Advance,
Shrey

I don't know about Greater noida but Noida is horrible...forget abt drinking that water but even before taking bath you have to think twice.

Water quality in Noida is indeed not good. Though i don't know if things have improved in the last few years. Gurgaon water quality is slightly better but it doesn't mean that you can drink it! Stick to RO or the bottled 20ltrs bottles.

Approx. Ground water level:

Delhi: 200 feet
Gurgaon: 300 feet
Noida: 150-200 feet
Greater Noida: 100 feet

Water in Noida is HARD in MAX SECTORS...to the extent that Even R.O Water plants, pipelines have a bad effect

Greater Noida...water is sweet in MAX SECTORS..and Not Hard

I am getting basement done in my Nri city plot in Greater noida.
Got boring done..and water is top quality.

I tasted it and The labours are drinking it direct and have no issues at all

Very true Chirag 999. Quality of water is really pathetic in Noida. I am surprised as to how the civic authorities manage the show. Yesterday, I started a thread on the air quality in Noida that it eats away the Copper tubes of Air conditioners/ refrigerators.

Sometimes in our colony we have totally black water, with weeds in it. People say that the nullah water sometimes gets mixed when there is a crack in the pipeline.

A glass full of water is always pale yellow.

Can we go ahead and ask some media channel to cover this/ RTI.

Water quality is better in Gurgaon than Noida but water availability is better in Noida as UP has supply from both Ganga and Yamuna.

I thought people are supposed to take bath only on Holi and Diwali.

Jokes apart, this is one reason why people are willing to pay through their nose to live in Delhi instead of Noida or Gurgaon.

We also used mineral water for bathing fo kids. After research come to know even mineral water is harmful for skins. you must need softner plant in soceity as it is not easy to install in Home ... takes too much space .. costlty and even you can not get it installed on all tap ....

Most of the builder offer swimming Pool ... but no softner plant ..

Logix LBC buyers raise this demand but Logix didn't agree to it as it was not in his brochure. during launch ..

Jaypee projects ... I believe have softner plant ...
