This is what is happening in India..

With Black money and collabrations with Netas and Bureucrats....and Media in pocket...Every Local Thekedaar has become a Builder.

Even after failing in previous projects....providing shit quality....all they have to do..is to LAUNCH another Project with Glossy Ads and Brochures.

And People will Forget....as simple as that

This Builder is a THIRD GRADE BUILDER....has a pathetic record....and has cheated many......

Safety and Security is LAST ON THE LIST of these Builders.

One can visit their Work sites and see the pathetic condition of workers in terms of safety standards

Safety is a CULTURE....which is NON EXISTANT in India

Nearly 70% of Malls are Unsafe

I was Shocked to See in Big Bazaar in GIP..how they had Piled up Juice Packs one of top of another...to make it nearly 8-9 Feet High

Children, senior citizens were passing inches away from it...Just one Nudge and the whole 50-60 Kgs of Juice Packs can easily fall on a child or even an adult and cause extensive damage.

Just visit ANY Ready to move in Projects and see the safety standards

The fire extinguisehers are non operational....fire exits are blocked...Open electric panels....Fire water line is dry....etc etc etc etc

List in endless....

AND THEN YOU HEAR THESE SAME 3RD GRADE BUILDERS talking about making 60-70 Storey Buildings !!!!!!!!!!

Regd this Mall...some media reports are saying that the authorities were not aware of it.....GIVE ME A BREAK !!!!!!!

I am sure in Greater Noida there must be posters regd this mall in many areas...and let me tell you.....Gnoida authority is pretty strict about it...you need to take permission from them before posting banners etc etc.....

A Politcian was a chief guest...and its a RULE..that whenever a High Category Poltician visits an area...His Security Informs the Local Police station in advance....

Only 2 days back I was on Noida expressway I saw...COMPLETE ENCRAOCHMENT Of service lane by Cars outside Unitech SEZ Sector 135 and outside Advant SEZ sector 136....

WHY ????...Didnt the Builder make Ample parking space.....

WHY ????

Because making additional basements or parking space...means Less profit

You kidding? Nothing ever happens to sarkari babus. Be it a building collapse or under-construction bridge collapse or an mishap or any illegal construction, they remain untouched.
To quote few quick examples from my memory, ALL the sarkari babus (n cops) were honorably reinstated after Taj Corridor scam, Nithari case, Dabwali tragedy (when 400 kids were roasted alive in a school function while the chief guest DM ran away) etc.

In this particular case, I wager that some babus (e.g. SDM sahib in name of magistrate enquiry) will make pocket few lacs.

Poster was all over on expressway.

Those SEZ parking are not yet ready to park vehicles so they are seen parked outside. Parking is not ready because construstion is going on on ther towers and entire project / buildings have common parking in the basement.
Though
Not sure whether basement parking are well enough to accomdate all.

Seeing the Parking conditions in Gurgaon Udyog Vihar...and On Noida expressway Near Lotus Valley school / 3C Office.....I feel...that parking encroachments will be common in Offices upcoming on expressway.

As I said before....Parking means..making extra Basement...or using precious Land for cars...which means .....LESS PROFIT for Builders

And thus going with the Evergreen Chalta hai attitude in India..and the pathetic professional standards of builders....I expect parking issues...Big way

I havent read the exact details....But if what Mr.Cookie and others are saying is true...that the event was continuing even after the Mishap...untill the Bimbo got injured....then this is simply Inhuman...just shows the attitude of these People towards Human life.
