this blog just re-posts stories from another news source verbatim. compare it with TOI story. 100% copy. I think it is some kind of automated system.

also check below thread , this noida authority and developers are just making money , what are technical constraints in the same , i doubt they v gone thorugh tht
even this is risky for the end user and price escalation in coming 4-5 yrs is just dream now

The HT article does not say anything about non-green buildings. If non-green buildings FAR is increased from 2.5 to 3 (as per TOI article) then green building FAR could go 3.75. There is no use of announcing 1% free increase for green buildings i.e. add 50 flats in 5000 flat complex is negligible.

is there some place where we can find original noida authority declarations. i think TOI report is wrong (maybe I want it to be wrong ). in HT article (online here at http://www.hindustantimes.com/Laying...e1-594444.aspx) ceo is saying they are giving this increased FAR for free. why will they give 36% (in case it is creased from 2.75 to 3.75) more FAR free. i think 1 % is free to increase the profitability of green builders (think of it like tax breaks govt gives to non-polluting and R&D industry). if a builder can build 50 more flats without giving anything to authority on existing infra, it will add purely to his profits(he will only spend on construction cost of those flats).

Yes Alok, you are correct. This seems more like an incentive on creating Green Projects in Noida to keep Noida green and environment friendly. I think TOI has done a big blunder in publishing incorrect information in this article.

IN HT, the title of the news says it all. "Laying Foundation for Green Noida".

but we should still confirm it from more authoritative source. i think both HT and TOI are wrong so many times, that we can't trust one over another.

Today's Zee News property ( 7:30PM) discussed about increase in FAR in Noida/ They clearly said that FAR is increased from 2.5 to 3, and 2.75 to 3.75 for green projects. May be that guy is also commenting after readting TOI....
But what will happen if this is true. I know Supertech is going to take full advantage of this news and would change its layout plans etc. I am not sure about famous 3C and LB ....Those bldrs who have already laid down pillers based on certain height of floors, would they increase no. of floors or would use green cover to take advantage ?? This is going to be a true test of bldr integrity//

Find time to read impact of FAR in this article...

What is the history of FAR for group hosing in noida...
How it has increased and by how much ,
If we assume the increase of 1 i,e from 2.75 to 3.75 , then its more than 36% ...
Does any one know what was the FAR before 2.75 ...
How its has moved since the inception of noida
