Dubai opened its property market in 2002, and since then, there has been a boom with some USD 100 billion worth of real estate projects under construction or in the pipeline. And the icing in the cake is that....

Indians are among leading investors in the booming Dubai real estate market.

The enthusiastic Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) in Dubai has therefore decided to tap the growing Indian interest by offering to organise Dubai real estate road shows, conferences and exhibitions in India and Saudi Arabia in 2007,to promote the real estate projects in overseas markets.

Similar road shows will be held in India in 2007; in New Delhi on August 20 followed by Bangalore on August 22 and Mumbai on August 24.

The series of road shows which will be participated by 40 real estate companies will help highlight the strengths and attractiveness of Dubai's booming real estate and the investment potential in this promising sector.

The DTCM also operates a representation office in Mumbai is hopeful that
the road shows will attract more investors from India.
