Hi
Some good news for Crossing republik.Around hundred of intending residents of CR protested against the dumping ground in front of the GDA and GNN On January 16, 2010. They filed a letter of complaint. Some allottees filed a writ petition against the dumping ground in the Allahabad High Court. Finally, the court has given the stay order on the construction work at the site of dumping ground. I am attaching an article regarding this news as printed on " Dainik Jagran Cityplus" . Crossings Republik allottees get stay order Crossings Republik allottes were standing tall on their fight against the dumping ground in front of the upcoming township and finally they got a stay order from the Allahabad High Court. They formed an association called CROMA (Crossings Republik Owners and Members Association) before shifting to Crossings Republik. The association is. On January 16 the allottes protested against the dumping ground in front of the GDA and GNN. They filed a letter of complaint to the local bodies but nothing worked. Crossings Republik is the first joint venture of seven major companies to construct a landmark township. But the residents did not give up hope. Some allottees filed a writ petition against the dumping ground in the Allahabad High Court and continued their quest while the others managed to get an appointment with Narendra Kumar Chowdhary, VC of GDA. A delegation of eight people including Akhil Chabra, president, CROMA, Rahul Agrawal, joint secretary, CROMA, Saiket Deb, treasurer, CROMA, Kshitiz Singhal, treasurer, CROMA, Badri Nath, executive member and members like Aashish Dubey, Sanket Mishra and Divyesh Shah went to meet the VC. On the issue, the VC replied that the master plan was changed on the directions of higher authority from the State Govt, and GDA has no role in it. Master plan was changed after notification passed by principal secretary, UP Govt. He refused to comment on the dumping ground proposal. He also recommended the allottees to display their grievances before the higher authorities of the State Govt. He further replied that whatever needs to be done from their end will be done. In addition, when a question was raised against the sanctity of master plan, he said, "Master plan can be changed anytime even after the development of the colony. If you want, you can raise grievances before the higher authority of the Govt of UP or file a petition in court." Altogether, four parties have filed writ petition against the dumping ground, the developers of Crossings Republik, Ansals, the allottees and the local villagers. Several issues were being discussed including health hazards and human interest. Finally, the court has given the stay order on the construction work at the site of dumping ground. "I will be handing over the order statement to the Ansals, my client tomorrow," said Kazmi, lawyer for Ansals, confirming the stay order. Sanjeev Srivastava, managing director of Assotech Ltd, one of the builders in Crossings Republik also confirmed the news. "It was never about whether the dumping ground should be there or not. It was about the sanctity of environment where around 1 lakh people are going to stay," he said. He also informed that the dumping ground did not have any environment clearance as well. "You cannot organise a football match in a nursery playing ground, similarly a 100 acre work can't be done on a mere 14 acre land," said Srivastava, also the vice president of National Real Estate Development Council. Attached for your reference. Best Regards Ranjan 10.02.2010 Last edited by RANJAN; 10-02-10 at 03:42 PM. |

It has been found that wrong Information was provided by Ansal’s Advocate that Stay Order has been granted by court.
While going through order, it is indicated that there is no stay and court has refused to grant stay on 25th Jan,2010.There is no stay order as appeard in media news. It is a nice move by intending residents of CR by forming CROMA-Crossings Republik Owners & Members Association. Now they can raise unified voice for the welfare of CR against issues. All best wishes and support to CROMA for its objectives for the welfare of the township. Best wishes for President-CROMA for good initiative and nice moves towards sorting of many issues. It is needless to say that there are nos. of issues pending in CR but first priorty should be given for shifting of Dumping Yard from there. May be PLI, venturing political support will work here. Hi,
I would like to request your kind attention towards one of the pending issues of CR. It was saying that approval beyond 15th floor of buildings in CR was pending from Hindon Air field authorities. Though builders are claiming that they have received approval for that and home-loans were sanctioned by various banks also. However it is requested to share latest updates and authentic information about this. Hoping your valuable inputs here for benefit of the all. Best regards Ranjan 23.02.2010 Last edited by RANJAN; 24-02-10 at 08:30 AM. |

Is anybody interested in buying my 2BHK 1280Sqft apartment in Crossing, I have already paid 100% and even covered parking charges, just waiting for possession and registration.
Also can anybody tell me, should I expect to receive the penalty for delay on part of the builder as mentioned in the agreement? |
