Shikanjibhai, so nice to see you after a long time. I was always fascinated by the calmness and peace of the hills. The simple and honest life style of the people are very close to my heart.

I would slow down in life after few years and I would be looking for a peaceful place to live. Haridwar is a great gateway place.... you are connected to so many great places from Haridwar!!

gharondabhai.... i have moved to Vadodara, Gujarat now. Safer & peaceful place.

Oh yes, Vadodara is a very nice place. I studied in Surat and stayed long time in Ahmedabad. Vadodara comes in between Surat and Ahmedabad. Vadodara is a fine balance among culture, education and industries.

yeah... and property is comparatively cheaper here. Though people here say that in last 2 years, property rates have doubled... but still it is affordable.

Apartments are not good here from investments purpose, one of my colleague here booked a duplex (with land) in 37 lacs.

Vadodara has every facility what a metro city can boast of. Also, its continuously developing.

Out of sight and out of mind. Yesterday saw ad of Hero Haridwar Green in HT.

The price does not seems right. Price quoted is same like GN/GZB/CR ... Aloo aur bhalu ka ek bhav!!

If the cost comes down to 15L for a decent size 2BHK in a reasonable location then I guess there will be many takers for a second holiday home ... 30L for the same is a big price tag.

Bhai logo ..... Haridwar mein patanjali yogpeeth k saath plots hain, agar kisi bhai ko chahiye ho to bta dena....... I work with a builder firm, agar kisi bhai ko aage sale karne ho to bhi bta dena...........

Nice to read this post! I had stayed in Rishikesh for 3.5 years from 1999 to 2002 and ended up bying a plot of land of 265 sq yards in 2002 which is located in kahiri khurd - near virbhadra on Rishikesh Hardwar road. I just wanted to know what are the prevailing rates in that location as of now. Though I dont intend to sell it right now, just wanted to get an idea of the value. Would like to settle there at a later stage of my life. Of course, Rishikesh is such a nice place to live and thoroughly enjoyed staying there for those 3.5 years. Looking forward to your response!!

I hv a 155sqyd corner plot in Alaknand Township (Hero Group) which i would like to sell. Price - 7700/- sqyd.
