Real estate firm Sobha Developers (SDL) would sign an MoU with Kerala government on August 20 to set up a Rs 5,000-crore hi-tech city at Maradu in the state.
The Bangalore-based infrastructure developer would create an integrated city of world class standards focusing on research and development, knowledge dissemination, electronics and IT, SDL Regional Director said in Kochi. The four-phased project, to be developed on 400 acres, would be undertaken on public-private partnership (PPP) basis and would be completed in eight years. The hi-tech city is to include a seven million square feet knowledge park, shopping malls, hotels, resorts and residential complexes with related infrastructure including a Marina. Under the proposed MoU, the state government would provide a single window clearance for the project. News Source: timesofindia.indiatimes.com |
