Default Areas good for commute to IT Parks

Dear All,
I was looking to hear from you all about which areas would be good to commute to IT Parks (Hinjewadi and nearby).

Since I do not live in Pune and was looking to relocate to an IT Job in Pune, any pointers would be welcome.

thanks,

My favorite location is Kothrud and Bavdhan Near to Hinjewadi IT park and you are also close to city!

But don't ask me the rates of Kothrud ...

If you have a family:
Aundh (distance to Hinjewadi 1st phase: 15 km approx)
=> very good area and developed with good markets, cosmo crowd, etc. But most expensive too

Baner/Balewadi (Distance: 10 km approx)
=> Next to Aundh in terms of posh locality, market access etc. Good schools around

Pashan (Distance: 12 km approx)
=> Quite residential area. Scenic location.

Without Family:
Pimple Saudagar (Distance: 10 km approx)
Wakad (Distance: 5-6 km approx.)
[These areas are outside PMC limit. They dont have good markets around yet, and bear a village look in most of the parts. Families don't yet prefer these locations]

All the best man. Just practise some meditation, coz you will need that once you start interacting with RE builder-agents in Pune.

For any querries, do post it here, we all would definately help.

Families keep in mind that you can decently-rent at Baner/Aundh rather than buying in Wakad at rates 3 yrs down the line.

For the past 2 yrs, I'm happily renting at Fatima Nagar rather than buying at inflated rates in Wanwori, NIBM etc

Aundh, baner were like villages at some point of time. Today they have improved. PS,wakad areas will certainly become better with time. Important is to get the good deal.

You're paying hard-earned money for development upfront which which may not come in next 3/5 years.
If the builder agrees to provide these "would be" facilities in agreement incl. quality construction & water then "Go get it".
Else be prepared to get yourself fooled
