Valid options. Good ones for another poll!

These are still all on the buy side, want to do one on the sell-side. How many have sold their investments?

Considering that so many people who bought in 04-05 want to buy more property now shows how (relatively) unaffordable this market has become. At the same time, so many people still want to buy property in this current scenario!

'want to buy' and 'actually buying' are two different terms.. they want to buy becoz they think that rates will come down further.. and waiting for right opportunities..

I too feel that option 1 (Bought in 2004-2005, not looking to buy anymore) will get a very less votes, since these people will not visit such site anymore.. last option (Bought in 2009 dip (March to September). Now doing bhajan-Kirtan!) will still visit this site since they want to know where market is heading, whether their decision was right, and if their builder is still alive and kicking if project is under construction..

Spot on.

The poll reflects a good picture of those who are on this forum. The vast majority of the participants seem to be interested in buying, or have bought recently, or are just about to close a deal.

The group I find most interesting is group-4, they are mere observers. They were not interested in buying before, and are not going to buy in the future. But they observe the ups and downs with equal interest (judging by their numbers).

Population wise 80% bulls, 17% bears, 3% neutral.

Forum noise 20% bulls, 75% bears, 5% neutrals

lol

Well, admitting openly that you've bought during 2009 dip is almost committing forum suicide here. However, since the poll is anon, the real facts are somewhat emerging.

The frenetic interest in Pune's real estate can drive even an agent crazy. I know of a broker who just can't keep up anymore, and is actually "minting" money.

Phew... I thought you are serious. I always think when you are "able" to "afford" RE without giving your "present" lifestyle a trouble...go for it.Otherwise never invest in RE (especially in Pune ) and live on rent and njoy life.Again, it's a relative thinking.
