I have been approached by Disha Direct for Agr. plots (proposed NA) at New Mahabaleshwar. I believe many of you must be aware of the details, then too, below is the email send by them as a proposal. Do let me know your thoughts or any info that you may have on this.

Hi,

I have got the same offer as well. It looks very appealing. I am thinking of proceeding ahead after gathering some more details.

Anybody else here of this offer or has experience with Disha Direct or have any information / news on New Mahabaleshar.

New Mahabaleshar is in new from 2000. Not sure about the status of the project. I had been to that area couple of years back. Obviously nice area. But it is difficult to do research of that area from Pune. I know as much information as Google knows but to understand ground reality you need some local contact. Price is not cheap though. It is fully priced for current economy. It is better to pay 110 to 150 per sqft for plots which are in vicinity of Pune instead of paying 50 per sqft for New Mahabaleshar plot.

Please ask them who is going to pay for converting it to NA?

As per communication received from their side. Current cost includes expences for NA.

Disha Direct is not reliable. Visit their previuos projects. One was something named Mango

. They sell the plots but don't make roads, give light & other infra too. The sample house (in case one opts for it instead of land) varies than that of actual one. There are instances where people were forced to buy house of different design & that too was handed over without completion (mere brick work & some plastering

). Don't know how a well known Marathi actor (if I am correct) became their brand ambassador

.

Avoid Disha Direct at any cost. Once you are in, you will lose your own Disha

This is sad. Any alternatives for disha?

Also if they are so bad , how come any of their old customers are not making any noise?

i even know tht disha direct hd taken the sales for mathwad prangan in shivtirthngar. in mar08 they used to quote 5200, now htey r saying 3200.
any experiences r welcomed.

Police action has been initiated against the builder. You want to hear the noise, here it is:-

That was bit of a shok to me, I booked a twin bunglow at their Sanskriti but cancelled it because the quality of construction was too bad. I think I made a good decision that time.
