Default MF declares NAV daily, why dont builders declare flats sold out

There is everything in RE but transparency. There are regulators for Stocks, MFs, Insurance, Telecoms etc, then why not for RE. If MFs can declare their NAVs daily then why builders can not update flats sold out / bookings done in their ongoing projects on daily basis? In fact they should provide PAN and other details to the gov. of such buyers on daily basis. At least those buyers who realy need their first makaan, will get it at reasonable rates if gov wants so.

There is so much black money stake involved in RE. Trust some of it must be going to fund anti social elements like terrorism etc. But what can be expected when politicos themselves are running the RE show. Hard luck mother India for having such sons.

Such a seemingly complex problem has a very simple solution.

If everybody stops buying under construction, you'll see that builders desperately want to make a sale and we'll see some serious competition.

if we keep buying under construction, we'll be where we are.
