Take heart, Amol, there are many of us in the same boat
I like Mundhwa as well, but I too feel that prices are bloated.

Just save your money and wait until YOU feel the price is right for the location and infrastructure. The prices will drop.. simply because even a person earning a decent amount of money cannot even afford a place like Mundhwa. In the meantime, enjoy living on rent. There are some really nice places to be had in KP, Kalyani Nagar etc. for reasonable rental prices (especially in the older buildings). Only the so-called luxury aptts like Waterfront, SkyLounge etc are stupidly priced.. they're not even as well made as the older flats. They're basically targeted to expats who don't give a damn about the rent they're paying as the company is paying the rent. For paying all that money, you get the privilege of getting the MMP (Mula Mutha Perfume).

Seems Mundhwa is a well guarded area by politicians. Most of it is still agricultural land. Politicians convert it to NA step by step as and when required. Like Panchsheel's Satellite towers, The king of good times Avinash Bhosale's God's Blessings, and Westin hotel..

Default Garbage dump: Uruli out, Mundhwa in

http://www.expressindia.com/latest-n...hwa-in/592933/

New garbage destination will be Mundhwa.

"The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) has cleared Mundhwa as the new site for garbage processing in place of Uruli Devachi.
Mundhwa was among the two sites proposed by the district administration in the wake of the tussle between villagers of Uruli Devachi and the district administration. MPCB regional officer P B Mirashe said they were in the final stages of giving the authorisation. “The proposal will be cleared for a site in Keshav Nagar in Mundhwa for a garbage processing plant that will treat 200 metric tonnes of garbage of the city,” he said. He added that the site will house a biodigester that will in turn help generate electricity."

Damn I like Mundhwa, and would hate to see it turned into a dumpyard.

However I doubt the possibility due to its close proximity and location between KP and Magarpatta.
