I already told him to be very careful and avoid HBC - at least till they manage to have a few successful schemes on ground. Till then, don't even touch it with a long stick! Don't know why a builder like Vilas Javdekar is spoiling his image by being associated with HBC.

I don't know why so many people are bothered about distance to their work-place. ......
* PS:- I fail to understand cost cutting measures of ITGs. They will think about petrol cost & spend more money than fuel on hotel & shopping, cinemas on SAT/SUN.
Not all ITGs are same His calculation is simple - Wakad saves him at least 5,000 Rs. per month on petrol and at least 2 hrs of time each day. He would rather spend more time with his family than on road.

Agree that Wakad infra will take a few years to come up - but it will if you have truckloads of IT guys living there with high spending power.

Any specific security concerns in Wakad? I have seen a lot of labor class people there, but think that is probably because of all the construction going on. Any other serious security risks he should be worried about?

Anybody has inputs on current price and if the builder negotiates (if at all)?

I have known many people who are trying to exit the Hyd property given the uncertanities over certain political situation. One of them was saying he wish he had invested in Pune instead of Hyd.
