Here are my answers regarding Sigma1... btw I dont take any remarks personally... 1. Within last 8 years, I have been staying in western countries including USA, UK, Germany, Switzerland and many more... in fact, I have stayed less in India.. 2. I graduated from M.I.T. Pune so I know that area extremely well. MIT has two entrances or two access roads. Anyone going to Sigma1 can see MIT students lurking around everywhere. I already mentioned that this is still better than Vanaraji because this is after the college not before. 3. I have a builder friend who is a friend of Kapil Gandhi (builder of Sigma One). I could have got the negotiated rate easily but no way they could match Samrajya. 4. Many people still believe that more money means more better things, but actually we are simply justifying ourselves by saying that. I personally believe that Samrajya is also costly, but as I had mentioned, I needed and it and it was in my budget. 5. in RE, you can see many builders showing awards but that does not justify the prices 6. They might have earned many rewards, but I did not like their layouts. period. 7. They could not justify the huge parking costs they are charging. 8. Swimming pool is too small and it will be shared between the 4 buildings and investors who are building their bunglows right next to it. 9. Finally, I have seen the project in details and then only I gave these comments. I also saw Indradhanu, Bhujbal, Samrajya, Sun city projects, Darode-Jog (Karve-nagar) and liked Samrajya the best. BTW, Darode-Jog are selling 3 BHK for 97L and Karishma is selling 3 BHK in 1.31 CR. maybe you find that more luxurious simply because they are over-prised... :-) By all means, buy the home which you like and which is in your budget. Metro cities in USA have proper infra and basic necessities with proper connecting roads for commuting although super markets may be 4/5 miles away We are seeing inflated rates by the builders in Pune at the sites where there are no basic infra in place forget about the planning by municipal corporations. DP roads are always there at every corner.But these roads will always remain DP .Luxury definitely comes with the cost...but one has to see the cost of "quality" construction & basic necessities where you & your dependents intend to live a "happy" life at the end of the day.
