Hi,
My builder has demanded a 10.3% service tax on MSEB 75000 and society formation (headed under other charges) - 20000. Can I get a clear picture on this, pleaseeeeeeeee? Anyone with any information/ similar exp? |

Thank you Jitu Bhai. Is there any way we can validate this?
- may be the which says this particularly (section/ circular from the ST authority) about the MSEB/ other charges. Since all the lawyers/ consultants have mentioned that builder can only collect 2.575% on construction cost and nothing else. - Can I demand a clear receipt against the payments stating what these payments are. Thank you again! |

You can get more clarity on it from a Chartered Accountant. Quote:
