Saurabh,

I didn't mean brokers!! of course, these buggers earn money whether u make profit/loss all the time

Also for me, I look less of fundamental, but more of technical charts to decide my strategies (basically Resistances-Supports)..and i am very impatient for long term investment, for that i have MFs to bank upon, thts where my steady investment goes!! The STOCK MARKET is mostly for me, to take care of weekend expenses and and money to splurge on brands

What i meant is professional stock advisors/portfolio managers, he advises me on Long Term/Short Term/ Investment ideas...but he charges a hefty amount for the same

I am gonna put forward some unconventional stocks (not popular like Reliance, L&T) for trading purpose.

JHS, Deepak Nitrite, FDC, Ranbaxy, Alembic, MRF, IGL.

I am holding these and some others like these for couple of years and would suggest to do some reaseach and some of you may add one of the above in your portfolio.

I personally do not invest in Blue Chip on individual stock basis but go though PMS or MFs.

After successful FIFA world cup project...they image of M Satyam is improved considerably..So you can expect positive surprise.

RIL, ICICI bank, Bharti (beaten down) can be good at present level. What do you say ?

Again, I dont provide stock ideas. I can only help analyze a particular stock or if you are having problem with your stock market investments. I dont want to land up in the "oracle" category of brokers or investment analysts...but believe me I had consistently beaten the stock markets and earned a decent 25-30% over my investments over the last 10 years.....

So anybody having trouble with the stocks or investments, I may be of help to you !

I think its the only bank making losses since very many years, and that reflects in its price. It may be a prime takeover candidate but I think its promoters are from Middle East and wanted to "Havala" money from India to Middle East.Anyways,I would really not advise you to stay invested in the stock and its a clear SELL for me even if there is NOT much downside. However, if some bank shows interest into buying DCB in 6-12-24 months, then the stock may jump to 70-80 levels.

I invest in a company for its own business, own profits and growth...a similar story actually to RNRL. If you are interested in the Indian Banks and bullish on the financial sector, just buy some Bank ETFs even booking 50% of the loss, you may then find out that your investment will turn into profits -- IF THE BANKING SECTOR OUTPERFORMS....
Hence, a clear advise SELL - but what to buy in lieu of DCB, is totally your call....I personally also like pharma and fmcg stocks and they could provide you handsome returns even from current levels...

In Banking sector, HDFC, SBI Axis Bk is good...
I think Auto sector do well in next 6 months, Bajaj is giving 1:1 bonus, Tata Motors is good but quite high at this level, can't say it will rally though...I am not sure about Maruti but their sales are good...
