As per my knowledge he is someone who always tries to misguide the buyers (especially NRI's) that the Pune real estate market is buoyant and flats are selling like hot pancakes.
I do not know what benefit or income he gains in trying to prove that the real estate rates are justifiable under any circumstances. Recently though the guy seems to have realized that he is too much into pleasing the builders and people are loosing the faith in his blogs, so has sometimes tried to blog which could please the potential customers. But, to conclude I would never get an opinion or guidance from a person who gives out biased guidance. |

I think he has worked with sales in various builders and blogs because of an interest in real estate and thus his natural tendency is to write about a project from a sales perspective. He never talked me into buying any particular project and i have found that he gives balanced views. What is missing is the buyer approach in terms of quality of internal fittings and surrounding areas etc.. |

I had an occassion where I took Ravi's help on for his thoughts on a project and negotiations etc.
I must say Ravi is a very nice person, he never talks to you like a businessman. I think he believes any-time is a good-time to buy or sell, its a personal choice. Since he has been a salesman of RE earlier (and may be currently as well) he always thinks stop buying RE is not a choice, the buyers negotiating hard and demanding for what they pay for is the right way to stop builders from playing tactics. |

2) I don't blog to please anybody! I blog to express my views. However, some times i become mischievous! 3) Yes, one should listen, talk and debate but should follow his heart! |

I took it as hands on training course to learn about real estate salesmanship. I was one of the partner in "Zeal", an ad agency specializing real estate advertising and marketing in Pune. My partner, Prakash Thombre, decided to shift to web design and multimedia and i went for real estate sales. I requested my clients, Directors of Pride Housing and Purple Properties, to give me an opportunity to learn. After fulfilling my commitment, i left them and joined my client Goel Ganga Group as a Vice President, Marketing. I have contributed in planning, conceiving the concept, marketing and booking "Aakashganga" at Rahatani, which i left because of the difference of opinion with the builder. You can read about it on the web and Yahoo group of the project. I could have joined any other group but i decided to start my blog. My blog is the result of an occasional communication happened between the property buyers at Five Gardens, Park Street and Aakashganga. While working as real estate salesman, i had realized that there should be a source of information about real estate market in Pune. And a platform for the interaction and exchange of ideas among and between the buyers and the builders. "Who else can do it better than the real estate salesman?" i thought. See, it's working! Thanks to all of you! |
