I don't know the exact location of the project but here it is ( official sources )
It is somewhere near sarajapur hobli & village that falls under anekal taluk

Preamble : 
M/s Wipro Ltd. have proposed to set up a “Sector Specific SEZ for IT/ITES” at Sarjapura village & Hobli, Anekal Taluk, 
Bangalore Rural District, with an investment of Rs. 461 Cr. Generating employment to 16500 persons. 
  The Karnataka Udyog Mitra has sent the scrutiny report. 
  The Government has examined the proposal from all aspects. 
  Hence the following order. 
GOVERNMENT ORDER NO. CI 84 SPI 2012,  Bangalore, Dated: 21
st
 March 2012   
  Government is pleased to approve in- principle the project proposal of M/s Wipro Ltd. To establish a “Sector Specific SEZ for 
IT/ITES”  at  Sarjapura  Village  &  Hobli,  Anekal  Taluk,  Bangalore  Rural  District,  with  an  investment  of  Rs.  461  Cr.  Generating 
employment to 16500 persons by extending the infrastructure facilities, incentives & concessions as mentioned below: 
Land:  35  acres  35.5  guntas  of  their  own  land  at  Sy.  Nos.  488,  498,  500/1,  495,  499/2,  494/1,  482/1,  482/2,  476, 
607/1,490/1, 492/1, 491, 492/2, 500/2, 498, 496, 491, 492/1, 493, 492/2, 494/1 and 492/1 of Sarjapura Village & 
Hobli,  Anekal  Taluk,  Bangalore  Rural  District,  Subject  to  approval  of  Development  Plan  By  Anekal  Planning 
Authority. 
Water:   2 lakh LPD from BWSSB / own source. 
Power:   32000 KVA to be serviced by BESCOM. 
Incentives &            As per applicable Policy of the State. 
Concessions: 
  This Order is valid for two years from the date issue.

Wipro plans to build its biggest campus near Bangalore - The Economic Times

Another proof to show that news for general public comes after day break. Apparently, Research into progress on approvals etc from various Govt bodies happens during the night at IREF. The smart ones pick, with Night Vision Glasses on them

Those who bought into the rumour are just about to reap huge profits. The quantum of profits may not be as instantaneous as the same rule that bodes well for stocks, but would be much bigger in scale.

Some of us in this forum have steadily posted research facts/information on the progress of approvals etc with respect to the two home-bred biggies of the IT Industry - Wipro & Infosys. Wipro's 50 Acre Sarjapur campus is now a reality and the day wouldn't be far when Economic Times carries such a story about Infosys's 360 Acre campus too!

All this happening very close to Sarjapur village (Wipro) and on Sarjapur-Attibele road (Infosys).

It looks like the area which was earlier reserved for "Azim premji University" is now converted to Wipro facility, on Sarjapur road, next to Decathalon sports shop.
