Default Flats in Perumbakkam

We are planning to buy a flat in perumbakkam area. Builder is Plaza-pristine areas. Do you have any idea about the location. I could see a rapid development in this area. Any thoughts?

Hi ,

Plaza is pretty decent builder, believe they are also promoting phase 2 of verdant acres. Good air, nice location and very near to OMR are it's selling points. But at present there is lack of basic amenities like grocery shops, medical shops, bus & auto availability. Guess as time passes all these will come up.

This area is going to see large number of gated communities in near future. Not sure whether it would be of advantage or disadvantage for residents

Main disadvantage is SALT water..

In comparsion with other areas in & around OMR i wont say perumbakkam water is too salty. water is bit hard and RO filter should be sufficient

Perumbakkam area is expected to have decent appreciation and good demand in the near future. But yes....water would be a problem not only in this locality but the entire OMR stretch.

If u r looking for potable ground water, choose an area somewhat interior - east tambaram areas should be fine, still they r close to OMR

We bought a duplex house in sowmya nagar perumbakkam 6 years ago....prices have trebled and touched more than a crore for a ground now...I expect further appreciation in next 5 years so booked Malles Altius there now.

Stepstone constructions is launching a project in off sholinganallur-perumbakkam road. Rate sounds quite reasonable (3390 per sqft) and they also provide basic amenities. Would be helpful if you can share any feedback about the builder and area.?

Where exactly is this project located? Can You please provide more details?

Hi,

Even im looking for an apartment to book asap. Last week i visited almost all apartments in perumbakkam.

Stepsstone is bit interior and roads are bad, Instead of chosing that , u can chose Colorhomes Eliteenclave which is of almost same distance n same price.

If ur ready to spend more, you can prefer Color homes color fields wh is on the mainroad.

I am in confusion whether to go with Colorfields \ ruby grand selaiyur \ any apartments wh is located 1 km away from mainroad perumbakkam.

Guys, your suggestions please.
