The first step you can take without commitment to the profession. Take the classes and get licensed. It`ll cost a little money but you don`t have to quit your job and it`ll let you get your "feet wet". I can put you in touch with someone to start your classes if you`d like. It is a wonderful profession and if I had one complaint, it would be the difficulty in meeting new people to work with. If you started selling homes and ended up being good at it or better yet, loving it, I would be very happy for you
