Exclamation Has real estate ethics changed in 2007?

I've been reading the threads and post in this section and find them interesting as well as a wonderful effort by fellow forum members to present the true picture of real estate in India.

I'd like to know, with property transactions in India going online, has the basic concept of ethics changed in real estate business?

Is real estate transactions in India still the business of BLACK and WHITE?

Lightbulb Watching this space

Hi Expresso!!!

Interesting....but maybe our real estate Agent's fraternity is in a better position to reply to this.

Wonder why no one has responded yet. Is it controversial?

Naaaaa.......I don't think so.

Realty business after all cannot be seperated from ethics, it after all depends on whether you want to make a 'plump profit' once or do 'business on trust' lifelong.

Watching this space Guys

Exclamation Anybody listening?

We have been discussing 'ethical' and 'unethical' in real estate in the forum

Can anybody say:
  • How do we define both the terms in real estate transactions?
  • Do ethics prevail in Indian real estate market?
You are right Tanuj, seems the whole 'issue of ethics' in real estate is controversial, which our Realtor friends are not ready to mingle with

Dear Adesh,
Please dont assume that the Realtors on the board are not ready to discuss this issue here. You cant jump to conclusions within hours of a post being made and expect people to reply immediately.

I am more than willing to discuss this and many other issues on realty. Just need time as i am now in a deadline at office. So would reply to this post by tomorrow

Question Share the changing scenario....

Hello friend from Pakistan,

You have written
Quote:
Yes in my country they have changed their ethics..
Can you please elaborate and share with us how real estate ethics have changed in Pakistan and how was it earlier?

We would definitely like to have an insight into the real estate trends in our neighbouring country.

Thanks

Due to emerging trends in real estate business, it is on the way to be ethical. It will take some time to be. Real estate business is passing through its transition phase.
