According to the Police Officials: Chaturvedi was interested in an Rs 500 crore project for Abhuday Nagar redevelopment, a project already pursued by Vijay Group. The property tycoon is suspected for taking on contract shooters to carry out assassination after they fell out over a business deal. It is really snobbish to learn that Chaturvedi has shelled out contract money to the amount of Rs 50 Lakh to do away with his rival. Police has arrested Chaturvedi as a part of series of investigation of the murder of Shah. In addition, a total of four sharp shooters, allied to Chota Rajan Gang have also been arrested. The contract money has been paid in conjunction with Udayan Maharaj. Maharaj, is alleged to have been involved in the deal with a background story. Earlier, under the influence of some locals he has intervened in the redevelopment project. He was then kidnapped at Shah’s behest for his un-welcomed intervention in the project and produced before gangster Ashwin Nayak, who alarmed Maharaj to stay out of the matter. As a result, in order to take his revenge, Maharaj teamed up with Shah’s rival Chaturvedi for putting out a contract on the life of rival – Shah. Source: dna india |

This is the black side of real estate business. Real estate businessman should behave professionally. Healthy competition is good but assasination of rivals is not at all acceptable.

In any field if anyone wants to grow himself and its business then he/she will have to defeat his/her competitor , so the real estate is not exception. but the competition should be fair, it should not be harmful.

The real estate business has come a long way, from being integrated family owned business to new and improved professional industry where customers are given choice and variety and treated like a king. I agree there are still some miles to go but with new regulations and incresed competion this industry will do away with cases like these and after the metamorphosis it will be like the present telecom and banking indusrty.
