Hi Vineet,

to the forum. Quite a few of us are eagerly waiting for construction to begin for our clusters. We can just hope for construction to pick up pace.

In the worst case, we will have to request our respective Banks to extend the validity of sanction and might have to pay processing fee again! It's worth to check with the banks early regarding the process of sanction renewal and can there be any discounts in processing fee.

Regards
Anshu

Wow - am impressed with the ideology.

Dreams, hv more to do with one's fantasies; vision - practical, achievable, realistic goals.

So the total amount saved that at the end of tenure will be 5.5+lakh odd rupees for the cost of Rs. 45k if you have opted for EMI increase option and you would save 18lakh rupees if you have opted to increase the tenure.

No bank or any loan advisory firm will advertise this option as its not profitable to them.
I too support this buying the increase in interest rate. A friend of mine who's paying for his HDFC HL for a long time now, did advise on this saying U get to save on several lacs in the long run at the cost of a paying one-off a few thousands when the rate of interest hikes. It's a 'must check' thing with our respective banks if we really can buy it out.
