Default Sec 93 - Pros and Cons

Dear Members.
Greetings!.

Since i am relocating to Sec 93 with my family, and i would be living in Noida for the first time i wish to know the pros and cons of the sector 93.
Please guide me in respect to transportation, approachability, security of the sector, market, daily needs and many other day to day activities needs which a person requires for comfortable living.
I have taken a society flat so electricity and water are not an issue, but other factors do play an important role.

Please guide me where to go for day to day things, nearby market, temple, medicines, stationary and all, restaurants in the sector, car/bike service station, daily needs, how to approach a metro station in case a person does not have a car/bike etc.

Senior Members - Since you guys are well acquainted to the region and overall noida, please share your views.

Mall...U need to go to noida sect 18 or Greater Noida

Day to day shopping....govt. Sector market and Mangal bazaar street market is there.....Small AC supermarket also there

The area has LIG flats also around...so crowd on street is very average

The region has rows of appartments very close to each other....so little big congestion is there

Hospital..Jaypee coming up with 500 bed hospital across expressway....it will be operational in 10-11 months

Entertainment....You would need to go to Na sect 18 or Greater noida...for at least next 6-7 years..maybe more

Schools...Best schools close by...Gensisi, step by step..dps, pathways,

Universitiy...amity close by...and north indias largest education hib with 70 colleges and 5 universities...Greater Noida is just 15 mins drive

Air quality...lot of construction going around....lot of dhoool

Public transport....zero....car is a must...the Buses from gnoida to noida ply on expressway..but its very dangerous to cross the expressway on foot

security....like other regions of NCR....stay inside complex...and donot take walks outside complex in hot summer afternoons or after dark

Water...is Harsh and untill unless you have a properly working water softening plant installed in ur complex....a lot of elec. Appliances and even pipelines have proble,s....R.O units..geysers...etc get effected by hard salty water

Zohaib, I guess sector 137 resident will face similar kind of problems once they move in a year or so...

its safe till 10 pm on weekdays and till 9 pm on weekends.
public transport is available on dadri road (around 1.5 km) if u want to travel to city center...car is a a must anyways
for daily need items, everything is available nearby...again to move to 110 market which is like a km away, ur own vehicle is a necessity.

Default Its Good with some negatives

First of all, Sector 93 is not too far from mainland Noida. I commute everyday from Sec 93A to Sec 18 for work. It takes only 10-15 mins to commute both ways.

There is public transport available on both Dadri road as well as expressway.

On expressway, there are bus stops built every km I guess, haven't measured. But its very risky to cross the eway.

From Dadri road side, state run buses ply to Sec 82 and then private buses to sec 93 and further.

You can get autos very easily from mainland Noida to sec 93 societies for 100 bucks and from these societies to sec 18 with some difficulty. Autos usually wait on the road between Parsvnath and Silver city.

But still car is must. Especially during late hours.

For daily needs and groceries, there is usually a convenience store inside all societies. But still you can walk down to Gheja for any kind of grocery purchase from any sec 93/93A societies. You can get fresh vegetables in the Gheja subzi mandi everyday till late hours. Prices are good too.

Recently Easyday has opened a store in Eldeco Studio society adjacent to Parsvnath Prestige. Its walkable distance from ATS, Parsvnath, Eldeco.

JM Hospital in Sec 135 is right across the eway.

Genesis, SBS and JBM Global and Indraprastha Global School are some of the schools within 5 mins drive.

For all entertainment purposes you will have to head towards Sec 18, as Zohaib pointed out.

I would agree with Zohaib that there is lot of construction going on all around and hence there is too much "dhool". But this does not bother you as much inside the societies. Its the same as in Sec 19 where I used to live earlier. Societies are very green from inside hence the air quality is way much better than in Sec 19. Societies are quite open and spread out not like the ones in Sec 50 and 62.

All in all its comfortable living in Sec 93 away from all the hustle bustle of the city and still be reachable withing 15 mins.
