Supertech on Wednesday unveiled its plan to build a 300-metre, 80-floor mixed-use tower (Spira) in Sector 94. This comes after the realty major in March, launched a 255-metre-tall and 60-floor residential tower named

North Eye in Sector-74.

High-rise construction spet BE Billimoria has been given the contract for the tallest residential building in North India. The foundation work is complete.

The builder claimed Spira would be the tallest mixed-use tower in India. Apart from luxury flats, there will also be some big-ticket commercial activities such as five-star hotels and retail chains. RK Arora of Supertech said, “We have got clearance from the Airports Authority of India (AAI), the fire department and the Noida authority.”
The project, spread in an area of 70,000 sqm with a built up area of 50 lakh sqft, will cost Rs 2,000 crore and will be completed in four years in three phases. “The layout has been approved by the IIT too. Spira is one of the five towers to be built under Supertech's project Supernova in Sector 94 at Delhi-Noida border,” said Arora.
The Noida authority will also have its new office in a 42-storey building on a 17,000 sqm plot in Sector 44.

The authority in 2007 approved a 32-floor, 105-metre residential tower being built by Assotech Group in Sector 44.

Design Arch in Sector Zeta launched greater Noida’s tallest residential building project with 24 floors in 2008.

Where is the Noida Authority 42-storey Building coming up in sector-44?

Thanks

In this earthquake prone area, its really scary to live so high...ek jhatka aaya nahin...ki kaam tamaam....
isse accha to ..itne mein...ek accha khaasa villa khareed lo...
iske 500m aas paas bhi rehna khatarnaak hai...
and i dont think...supertech has expertise in making so high rise buildings...
ye to life risk lene waali baat hai...

Looks like you are expert about "Supertech", since you say "supertech is definetely not an expert". So supertech expert ji, can you please describe the rationale behind this expertise?

Guys

Supertech MD is not going to construct these Skyscrapers but by the contractor hired by the Builder is going to do. So all depends on the contractor.

Hmm.. I think there won't be much takers for these things from users in this forum. Since most of the typical Delhi has fancy for low-rise. But, of course in such a huge population there are enough guys from Mumbai who can also appreciate a high-rise. But still, asking for huge premium in name of a high-rise is kind of funny, right now the USP of the these towers are in their height. But, if they get this kind of premium -others are also likely to follow suit resulting in abundant price and the whole novelty of being tall(est) will be gone.

No matter building is 30 story or 70 story.
Noida has many high rise building residential as well as commercial, coming up in next 5 years.
Wave Commercials above 40 story
Assotech Celestial 37 story
Jaypee has 25- 60 story as far as I know.
Unitech Golf Country too has skyscraper.
Noida Authority Building 44 story
Noida TT is also above 40 I guess
Supertech Supernova followed by North eye , Apex and OBC.
all premium residential launched by builders are above 30-35 story.
So trend is chaging now.

Thanks

Frankly,a skyscaper of 300 M tall may be a novelty in Delhi-NCR, but not elsewhere - even in India. There are already more than 10 buildings in Mumbai itself that would be more than 300M (infact touching sky at 720 M named India Tower with 125 floors).
Anyone buying with the intension that it would be the tallest building in NCR would be soon disappointed (just like North Eye, which has lost tallest building tag in NCR). Infact I see a trend of skyscrapers going all the way to 400M to be counted as one in the race of tall building. In nutshell a building of 300M would not even find a mention in the news just like Supernova is getting. Live in glory till it lasts.
