Rohtak-Gohana Railway Line near Bajrang Bhawan Mandir(Delhi Rd) to be removed or not? - Indian Real Estate Forum

Hello All
I am a new user to this forum and have read the discussions and posts by others. They seem to be quite informative. I have a question to post that there was a news around a year back that the Rohtak-Gohana Railway line on Delhi Road, near Bajrang Bhawan Mandir, will be shifted to somewhere outside the city. The news of a new railway halt at Asthal Bohar was linked to this and it was believed that this new halt will also serve the Rohtak-Gohana Railway line. So, I want to ask that whats the status of this project and whether it will see the light of the day or not?

okk....thanx a lot for throwing light on this. I think it should be one of the important projects for the govt. because the traffic jam which happens daily at the railway crossing is painful for everyone. And such jams in the centre of the city is really a matter of concern. It was heard that there might be a Bridge coming up over the railway line but the shopkeepers in that row went against the govt's decision as their shops would have lost their value. So, the only option now remains is to shift the railway line altogether. It will also increase the beauty of the city if a road is constructed there.
