Dear Moderator / adminstrator,

would request the following :

1. Just as there is a separate thread for bad infra for a city , there should be another thread for good infra . Many would prefer to know what good things and bad things are happening & hence clubbing everything under news does not make sense.

2. If possible iref should look at sorting of threads based on :
a) builders
b) areas ( like dew, gcx, gcr etc. etc )
c) sectors
d) launched / prelaunched / resale etc.

etc. etc.

This will make it easier for everyone.

Orange colour always give me feelings of Sadhu ji / Shiv sena / Orange county (IN Indirapuram) .....etc etc.

Other issue -- other people easily understand that I am enjoying on net in office (So can't use more during office hours.

Regarding Point No 1 - Having 2 many threads active which r feeding news leads to duplicity of posts . For example, most of the news posted in this thread sohna road projects and infrastructure updates is already posted in GGN part of the forum .

One may re post an article if required, but having different threads for News ( which is leading to repeated duplicity of posts ) is not desirable . Also, many threads on News topics ( many with the same News ) could cause some confusion for First time visitors/ Guests .

I agree to the point that too many threads should not be in the same subject, just as for example there are 2 threads on exact same topic i.e NPR & Dwarka expressway which are one and the same exactly . Now if sohna road update is part of gurgaon, then so should all the threads related to micro markets should be subsumed in Gurgaon like NPR , SPR as lot of information could be duplicated. Anyone interested in what is happening in spr, if they start searching the entire gurgaon news thread, will be highly cumbersome and hence need for separate thread.

On the contrary there is a thread called Gurgaon bad infrastructure, now going by the logic the same can also be posted in the thread of Gurgaon news. Gurgaon news is a very very broad definition, someone specifically interested in updates/ infrasturcture on specific area will be interested in that area. .

The final decision of course is that of IREF , but it will be great if we have a consistent way to classify things and same rules apply to all categories.

Let me clarify, the NPR thread is named NPR - Current status & was exclusively meant for updates on the latest position of construction updates of NPR & issues related to it . Dwarka Expressway thread is more generalized & was basically meant for discussions on all on going Projects on NPR .

.......offcourse, there has been some cross posting in these threads, but basically, both r meant to serve different purpose .

All posts related to issues of Infrastructure r being posted in the "Bad infrastructure" thread . There r many cross postings here too, but they do get deleted, if they come to notice or the posted article is not of much significance .

..........going by the logic being given, every Project should at least have 2 threads- one on the Pros, one on the cons . Also, the thread sohna road projects and infrastructure updates has been specifically pointed out, since it contains News, which is already present in the forum . We r trying to avoid duplicity of posts & also avoid numerous threads, catering to News Articles only .

Every coin has to faces, similarly Good and bad aspects of anything should be at the same thread.

Mods / Administrators,

Kindly help do the following for gurgaon thread :

1. Have a thread for infrastructure and development projects for gurgaon .
by renaming the Bad infrastructure thread .

or

3. Have the same criterion as has been used to merge the infra thread into news by merging bad infra thread into news.

I will really appreciate it if the same can be done asap.
