Hello RA sir,

I have purchased a flat whose floor plan and directions I am attaching here. I am soon going to move into the flat. As per builder the flat is vaastu compliant but I am looking for an advice from a consultant. I am reading your thread regularly and admire your knowledge. Could you please help me out.

PS: Floor Plan is attached.
For directions: Balcony is north east facing. Not sure about the exact angle.


I need to know:

1: Overall Vaastu of my house? Any minor changes that are need to be done in temrs of getting wood wrok done as this is a raw flat.?

2: I want to build a pooja ghar in master bedroom or balcony attached to it after covering it. Any suggestions about directions.

3: Suggestions about wall colour, cupboards, and any other suggestions from you for overall vaastu improvement.

I am a silent follower of this forum for around 2 years and created the account only few months back and this is my first post on this forum. I admire your knowledge of Vaastu Shastra and would like to have your advice.
I have attached the floor plan of the rented flat where I am staying for 2 years. For the last 1 year I feel that my financial condition is getting worse. I am not able to save anything and sometimes my expenses are more than my salary and have to utilize my savings which I had saved earlier.
I will request to check the map of the flat and please let me know if there is something wrong in this flat as per Vaastu or is it due to some other problem. Any remedy to make this flat more Vaastu compliant.
The flat is backside builder floor flat. The doors are marked in bold lines.

I will really be thankful if you can reply.

Seeing crematorium is bad, but having it close is very bad too, whether visible or not. The distance of your house from crematorium, hospital, temple or any religious place should be atleast 2 kms.

* PS:- Hospitals means major hospitals & not those small dental clinics. And temple means the common ones open for all & not community temples.
And the shadow of temple, etc. should never fall on your home. If builder has given temple in the premises, ensure that your building is not the one nearby to it.

Since you have only booked, any chance of booking the flat which is diagonally opposite to this flat. If yes, please upload that flat floor plan. Can work out accordingly coz in this particular flat, the issues are major & best to stay in such flat.

The flat is not in main directions but is deviated. The intensity of such things depend upon the angle of deviation. Here are some things need to be done for your flat :-

> Kitchen is in NW. Ensure that the wall, modular kitchen color etc. as much white as possible. Keep pastel green color element over there, it can be as simple as basket over there. Important point is avoid cooking facing North. Make it East facing for best results, else West but never North or South.

> The NE bedroom should not be used by elders in family. Make it pooja & study for best results. If not, only small kids should occupy that room, but that too if unavoidable.

> The bedroom in SE should not be used by member within the family as it leads to conflict with that person who sleeps there. If unavoidable, to reduce the impact, make the curtains red in color, keep some red roses (artificial are OK) & keep rose crystal balls there. This will help in reducing the fire energy here. And avoid blue & black color in this area, infact black should not be used anywhere in the house.

> In the bathrooms located in east, as said before, keep raw salt & replace it after 15 days. Use exhaust fans & ensure that the bathrooms are clean. As far as possible, use this for bathing & not or extremely less as toilet.

> Install a 'Mangal Kalash' in your pooja room. It will help reduce lot of Vastu doshas in the house.

> Use chanting machine in the house for atleast 1 hour in a day & sandal incense sticks daily.

Doing the above mentioned things will help you immensely. If any further query, do write in.

The kitchen, living, bedrooms are in proper positions. What worries me though is the stairs. They should be in West-SW. It will be best if they can be done over here with stairs being in clockwise direction. Even more precise thing would be you should start with right feet & end with right feet after reaching the floor above.

The main compound door of NW should be painted in pure white.

Coming to plot, SE is extended & SW is cut. Ideally, best thing would be to have all the sides in 90 degrees only. If this is not possible, then for your case, plant Ashoka trees on Southern side of the plot. Hope this helps.

Actually the flat is good on several aspects, including the location of various rooms & bath/toi. The entrance of the flat is South facing in SE, which too is not bad.
However, note that such entrances are not suitable for all, infact this entrance is good for factory or shop dealing in metals.

So, despite the rooms being in place, the entrance goofs up everything as it is not suitable for residential. Having said that, over all, the flat isn't bad either.

Hence, in this case, I would leave it to you to take a call on this but personally, I will be a bit tilted towards NO. Please write in for further queries & god bless.

OK.

Very bad. It will be best if you can shift the kitchen to SE. You can put some soil in earthen pot & place that in kitchen & have brown color elements there. Ensure you don't face South/North while cooking. Place Spectralite stone on right hand side of gas stove. However, kitchen in SW is serious & these or for that matter any remedies won't be much useful.

Keep rose quartz balls/stones near the bed. Keep the bed in South of the bedroom & have paint or atleast curtains to start with in green color.

Not good but not extremely bad either. If this is in NW on North wall, then it is bad; if it is NW on West wall, then its OK. Just ensure you don't keep any junk material below the stairs & not have any bath/toi below it.

You should have brown color tiles here. The raw salt does wonders, so have it here as well.

In this case, just put a curtain on 2nd door & keep curtain closed as much as possible. Simple.

Best would be to swap the locations of bedroom & kitchen. Bed in SW & kitchen in SE will do wonders. See if this is possible & if yes, do it ASAP.
