ORRIS has launched plots "ORRIS CURIOCITY" in greater noida at 26000/-. Rates are on the higher side & are not worth buying i feel. But they have a scheme for the investors- You pay 40% upfront and they are assuring 24% returns after one year (i.e you pay 25 L today and take 31L after one year). They will sign a MOU with the buyer....Members plz suggest......Is IT A GOOD SCHEME....SHOULD ONE BUY THIS ASSURED RETURN SCHEME????ADVISE PLEASE

ORRIS is giving Post Dated Cheques for this schemes at the time of booking along with a MOU on stamp papers......Giving cheques shows seariousness to pay 24%??? comments plz.....what are the consequences of a cheque bounce given by a company like ORRIS, if it happens???

After analysing the scheme and consediring the uncertanities in today's unorganised real estate market of india it would not be a surprise if this pdc turns out to be a bait for bherchal ....which is right now happening with the investments in the property market. I may be wrong in saying so but what do you do if the cheque is stopped for payment ...

24% return looks to be too too candy...

No . this is not good for investment , reasonable rate for this area should be around 16,000/- as this area will take another 10-15 years for development.
