Process and documenttion for buying of Panchayat approved plot at Hosur, Tamil Nadu
I am interested in purchasing a plot within a gated layout in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The layout plans have been approved for development by the village panchayat. No other planning authority has approved the layout plans. The land has been converted for residential use.
I want to ask the following questions in this forum:
1. Is it enough just to have Panchayat approval fo the layout? Shouldn't a body like DTCP (Chennai?) or the District Collector or some other concerned authority provide an NOC or approval for the project/layout? In this case, who is the right authority to do this?
2. If the panchayat has approved the layout, then which local body should have all development plans for the area to indicate if there is any chance of any public road etc to be built through the layout?
