Property in Bangalore - Real Estate Bangalore Discussion
This city is also known as Bengaluru and is the capital of Indian state of Karnataka. Once titled as the ‘Garden city’ of India for its scenic beauty, today, it is known as the ‘Silicon Valley of India’ for its churning out world famous IT/ITeS companies. People from all over the world and across India have made this place their home thus granting it a unique international flavor and also, it has led to accelerated demand for rental housing and also for end-user dwellings with several big names specifically catering to these sections. Another thing that is attracting people to this city is it being a ‘complete destination’ with excellent connectivity with the rest of Karnataka and the outside world; all thanks to Bangalore International airport, rapid transit system, wide roads that enable smooth bus rides, network of railways and also cab facilities. Some of the major infrastructural projects that have been making waves here are the Mono Rail Project Hebbal to J P Nagar & Peripheral Ring Road to Toll Gate along Magadi Road, Hosur Road Elevated Expressway, Hebbal Elevated Expressway, Metro Phase I and II, Peripheral Ring Road, Signal-free corridor and Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor (BMIC) Express Way. The prominent areas that have witnessed much real estate activities in Bangalore are Whitefield, Hebbal, Indiranagar, Koramangala, Hennur Road, BTM Layout, Bannerghatta Road, J P Nagar, Hosur Road, Electronic City, Marathalli, Sarjapur Road and Yelahanka. The real estate market of this place has always been driven by independent housing options, but due to rising costs fuelled by expatriates and other internal migrants, now there has been a shift towards apartments and flats too, as they are far easier to manage for servicemen and women.
