I am finding many brand new houses selling by construction company in websites? Is it good to buy a independence house in NRI Layout(Ramamurthy Nagar). If not please suggest the place around that ramamurthy nagar (Hoysala Nagar / Akshaya Nagar/HBR Layout/Kalyan Nagar/Hormavu or anything else as well)

    HBR layout is a very good option.

      They are quoting 5000 to 6000k per sq.ft. is there cauvery water facility in HBR Layout.
  • Not sure about Cauvery water facility. You need to go and personally check as sometimes in an area as large HBR layout many parts would not yet have seen cauvery water connections.

  • HBR and Kalyan nagar are good areas.. you will not get HBR in 5k.. someone is trying to fool you saying it is HBR.. all these are BDA layouts (HBR, HRBR, OMBR, Kasturi nagar etc).. the other areas surrounding Ramamurthy nagar are mostly B khata properties.. basically, as a thumb rule, any property within the ORR is more likely to be a clean property.. and most outside the ORR are more likely to be not so clean.

  • Plot value in HBR BDA layout is Rs.10000 - 12000 / sft. How can someone is give you a house for Rs.5000/-?
    It is an old trick used by builders to say Ramamurthy nagar as Banaswadi, Horamavu as Kalyan nagar(HRBR) and Hennur as HBR . As sgeorge mentioned within ring road is BDA layout with clear titles, outside ring road (except HBR 5th block and some parts of HRBR layout and kasturi nagar) are non- BDA.
    While these areas are quiet livable compared to many other areas in Bangalore, titles are 95% B khatha only. Most of the old layouts are not even DC converted.
