Hi,
I am staying in bangalore since last 4 years and now I want to buy a plot in a gated layout (Sarjapur,Yelahanka etc) but my budget is not much (around 14-15L, that too on loan).
Initially thought for an apartment but any apt will cost me more than 40L which I cannot afford(Unfortunately I work in an company with no onsite opportunities :)). With a plot in hand I can afford to build a home in next 3-4 years.
Just need some valuable suggestion as to where I should buy a plot such that region is livable in next 3-4 years and is also close to IT industry

  • Thanks appumail,
From livable I meant all amenities very close by i.e. shopping area, hospital, schools etc.. within 1-2 KM (just like presnt JP nagar, bannerghatta extensions etc), will Chandapur-Anekal region gain this momentum in next 3-4 years ?? I heard from my friends that future is in Yelahanka, what is your say on this.
Also any inputs on Sarjapur zone...?

manu1982: I would say that it is too much optimism when someone is investing 14-15 lacs on land asn expects shopping malls , schools, hospitals etc withing 1-2 km in 3-4 yrs.

If anyone can find all these within 1-2 km or even 5-10km, then why would anyone buy plots at 4000-5000 in JP nagar.

Maybe around 15-20 km from sarjapur jn on ORR , one can find a plot at 14-15 lacs but rest assured whatever the real estate guys tell you it will not be developed in 3-4 yrs. Yes in next 10 yrs you might have amenities within 1-2 kms.

  • Thanks gaurav... I understand this, but when you live in a place full of amenities then you expect to see your future residence in the same light..
Anyhow Can you suggest some place near Sarjapur or Whitefield where I can invest (I'll increase my budget till 20L) wherein after 3-4 years these conditions can be expected...
