Hi Friends, I am planning to buy a Villa in a under construction property in Sarjapur. I checked with different builders over there and each one is calculating the VAT and Service tax differently. I would like to know what is the VAT and Service tax rates as per government norms and how it works in case of the under construction property. Lets say my property price is fixed today inclusive of all VAT and Service tax and later if next year the government increases the VAT% and if my property is still under construction, what will happen, Is my builder allowed to increase the price of the property stating this. Please advice.
