It is good in Bangalore and people respect rental agreements. I have a furnished 3 BHK measuring 1500 SqFt in Marthahalli. I have let it out for 31K (including 4K per month for maintenance).

That is very good. I guess it's a branded apartment like Sobha's?

One more thing. Rental yield is higher for 1 bhk's. They cost less but can be sub let to bachelors who are willing to pay higher. You have to check with the society though, most of them don't are not very enthusiastic about bachelors.

From what I've seen, it is typically around 2.5 to 4% depending on locality and project..

What will be the impact on rental and property prices if govt. re-opens old HAL Airport? It seems like there are lot of public pressure to re-open this airport at least for domestic route.

I bought a plot in 2008 near airport. The current value now is around 30% more ( that is If I am lucky to get someone to buy at 30% high )
                  Which is a CAGR of 4% .......

Its easy to say that property appreciated by X amount. Its all virtual, until U can sell for that price.
