I am looking to buy a plot (mainly looking at Sriperumbudur and Urapakkamunder) in chennai.

The undercertainities in Sriperumbudur is, they want full cash.

I am also looking at VGP ramaujar -II, where Dr Raaj has said the registration is stopped. On enquiring they said, the land for airport about 2 - 3 kilometers from that point.

What I want from members is which is better in terms of appriciation. Also is it the time to buy land.

My opinion is Land prices may not decrease further, However flat price can go down.

  • I would agree with you. Also places like Sriperambattur will have lots of room for development ( the trend we see is expanding chennai and will soon take this place). Land investment in suburbs is safe in my opinion. I recently closed couple of grounds close to Prince Residentia near by toll plaza. Now looking for some interior lands in 3-4 lakhs range as mid to long term investment.
