  • Difference in Measurement of Plot size in patta and registration document

The size in Patta was different (by a few hundred square feet) from extent in registered document. Extent in Registration document is correct. But extent mentioned in Patta is wrong.

Plot size in Registration document - 1907 sq.ft

Size in Patta - 1.5 Are (After converting it will be 1615 sq.ft)

Is this will cause any issue to owning the Plot

Re : Difference in Measurement of Plot size in patta and registration document

I assume that u r trying to buy this plot, in that case, is the reality, is the plot 1907 sqft measured? if so you can always correct the patta. But this is tricky, there is a lot of work to be done and correction in revenue records(patta, chitta and FMB) would take time, money and effort.

You can check in the FMB whether the demarcation is done for sorrounding plots and yours, and whether your plot is having proper dimension, if so, you can approach to correct your patta.

If the FMB shows the 1600 sq ft, but in real its 1907 sq ft, then its bad.

U should buy the plot for 1600 fq ft only not 1907 sq ft.
