    We purchased a plot 20 years back with proper documents. Recently, when applied for Patta Transfer, found the Patta was missed to be fed into the computer. It's been more than a year since we started requesting for computerisation of the Patta details and been dragged and delayed due to Corona and also Govt split the Taluk office [Kundrathur was split from Pallavaram]. In this process, the set of papers were misplaced and we had started the process 2 months back from scratch. Need to mention and Thanks to VAO and RI responsibly completed their part and moved the papers to Taluk office. Till then visiting Taluk office every week - It's been very stressful to hear irresponsible responses and no proper focus to complete this whole process.

    Request this group members to help/guide with the escalation process to get this expedited. I tried speaking to HQ Tahsildar but was not fruitful. Thanks in advance.

    Request your inputs on this front. It's been a year now and being dragged now. Such a simple process but personnels making it so complicated. May be how we outsourced the passport services to TCS earlier, we definitely need some improvements made on these Govt services as well.
    I thought splitting of Taluks will speed up the process as there will be dedicated staff and Tahsildars - Nevertheless it's the same painful status.

      IF you have filed your request officially and have a receipt/proof... there is a timeline after which you can proceed with a RTI petition on ur request with the receipt/proof. With this the Tashildar is bound to reply, if u have any reliable lawyer contact them, it should be possible, tedius but still possible.
