Builder subdivided land into 4 portions with road inclusive.

I had bought one portion of the land. The land was marked as Nanjai in the Patta
dated some 8 yrs back.

Checked CMDA landuse plan and the area is marked as residential use.

Took a new patta for my portion of land. Informed the guy in sriperumbudur
that CMDA landuse is residential and to change it.

However, now I have been issued a new patta for that parcel of land
and still says Nanjai land.

What can i do about this situation. Can i leave it as it is or have to push
for some kind of conversion.

  • Nanjai

Nanjai mentioned in the patta refers to Nature of the Land.
it may be residential in CMDA plan/records,but in revenue records always it will be as nanjai only.
Revenue dept issues patta for Punjai and Nanjai lands.
