Hyderabad - the IT hotspot

From being a relatively low-profile state on the country's infotech map, Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad has gradually come into the limelight with the IT boom.

It’s also being seen as the next IT destination after Bangalore. But with an ambition to match strides with India's IT hotspot, Hyderabad will sure have to take a giant strides to fulfill its hi-tech dreams.

With big names like Infosys, IBM, Wipro and Satyam looking at expansion plans in Andhra, Hyderabad could well become the next tech hub of South India.

But does the city really have what it takes to crack Bangalore's infotech domination?

  • I wonder why people often compare Hyderabad with Bangalore..yes it is understood that both are major IT and ITES destinations in India but comparing both in terms of infrastructure, there is hardly to choose from..

    As far as comparison in terms of IT companies and software production is concerned, there is no doubt that Bangalore is right up there but at the same time, if we look at the growth rate of Hyderabad, it is much higher than Bangalore..
