I am in the process of buying an apartment. The project is not yet approved by HMDA, nor has a RERA approval. The amount for HMDA approval has been paid by the builder. Once the approval is received, i have 2 options. First, i can make the full payment of the apartment, which will save me 9 lacs overall. Second option is pay the down payment and go for loan. In case of the first option, the builder says, i can even get the registration of the apartment done as soon as i pay as it is approved by HMDA. My question is, is it possible to register non existent apartment in my name, just based on the plan approval?
