In view of taking Hyderabad at a level at par with its global counterparts, the Andhra Pradesh government has chalked out a slew of infrastructure projects for the city. The developments are focused on residential real estate contributing to urban settlement around the Hyderabad Metropolitan Area.

The proposed 159 km transport corridor will act as an orbital linkage to the existing arterials connecting Patancheru, Shamshabad, Hayathnagar and Medchal with each other with inter-linkage to various National and State Highways. "Not just these roads will decongest traffic on Hyderabad roads, but will play a pivotal role in the development of satellite towns, which have otherwise become a segregated part of the city," said a Ratnesh Tripathi, a marketing officer of Swagat Housing Group, a property builder group in Hyderabad.
