People in hot pursuit of premium international brands like Prada, Gucci, Versace, Rado and Omega will throng Haute Street, the signature mall coming up at Topsia on the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass.

Haute Street is a first-of-its-kind shopping mall with an investment of Rs 50 crore. The developer claimed that “it will house niche products and will have a niche footfall”. With several malls coming up in the city in the recent past, this mall promises to set new standards and will be spread over an area of 1 lakh sq ft.

The mall will have all the high-end brands - both national and international. Sujit Arya, director of Surya Mansion who are developing the mall, said that the Haute Street’s architect had created a wonderful synergy of grandeur, elegance and convenience to cater to the needs of the customer.

The mall will also have a traffic management system and in the near future, the mall plans to have a multi-level parking space.

The building management system is of a high standard and the facility of complete automation of the building management will help to bring down the per unit cost for shop owners in the near future. The system will not only keep the building clean, but will provide effective water management. Architect Harsh Sanon pointed out that this venture, which is on the anvil, will come up late next year and by that time Kolkatans will be prepared to welcome the brandwagon. The signature mall will be a shopper’s paradise with premium products under one roof. “We wanted to bring the big brands under one roof for the convenience of brand-conscious people,” added the developer. They also plan to market the mall in an elaborate way, which they believe, is quite essential and if this endeavour is successful then there are other real estate ventures in the offing.
