Smart people invest before the major milestone. Normal investor invest after the major developments. For example gurgaon those who invested 15 years back are smart and those who have recently are normal.

Haryana roping in private sector for Horticulture
            Chandigarh | Sunday, Jan 27 2013 IST

Committed to creating knowledge-based marketing system to get the growers remunerative prices for their produce, the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board (HSAMB) is roping in private sector at the India International Horticulture Market (IIHM), Ganaur, Sonipat District, and the 100 horticulture collection centres it plans to set up all over Haryana. Stating this here today, a spokesman said that the board had invited expressions of interest from intending partners from private and public sector to work as service providers at the IIHM, Ganaur, and at the 100 horticulture centres. The PPP route is being taken to combine the vastness of the state infrastructure with efficiency of the private sector to bring growers better return and the consumers fresh produce at reasonable prices.

The Board is setting up IIHM at Ganaur in the National Capital Region over 500 acres. The will be positioned as a potential hub for export of fruits, flowers and vegetables from all over the country. Ganaur has close proximity to Azadpur market which accounts for 30 per cent of the total inflow and 28 per cent of the total outflow of fruits and vegetables. Ganaur is 60-minute drive from the central part of the NCR. The Kundli Manesar Palwal Expressway will run close to the market providing easy access to global cargo facilities for export of horticultural produce from Delhi. A rail-cum-road logistic hub is also being planned to facilitate efficient movement of horticultural produce. First-of-its-kind in the country, the market will be built on international standards its counterparts in developed countries. When operationalised, it will offer famers, consumers and traders access to modern sorting, washing, grading, packaging, waxing, preservation, testing and certification facilities.

The spokesman said that a national horticulture pavillion had also been planned on the campus. It would provide facilities like office and exhibition spaces as well as horticulture produce preservation facilities for various national and state horticulture agencies for robust backward linkages of this market with various horticulture production zones in the country. The project report has been prepared by Rungis Internatioal Horticulture Market near Paris, France, which is rated among the largest wholesale markets in the world. The Board also plans to set up primary processing centre and other common facilities in the PPP mode in the market.
