I own a small business and having office in leased property for last few years. I want to have own building and use that for commercial and residential purpose. I am planning to buy a small plot of 3-5 decimil in tier 3 city within 12 lakhs budget. These are some queries i need your help.

- Whether a small size plot be useful for this purpose?

- Is it wise to build house for office purpose instead of leasing space?

- Is there any minimum plot size requirement for commercial use?

- How feasible is using the building both for commercial and residential purpose?

  • Which 3 tier city r u planning to buy this Commercial cum residential Property ? Every city, small or big, may have its own rules on minimum size of the plot and host of other things. Your other queries are too generalized in nature and their answer would depend on the town where u plan to buy/the exact locality where u plan to buy/plot exact location - proximity to existing Commercials/future Commercial or residential potential etc.
